Good morning Robina. State of Origin is taking over Robina this Thursday, with tickets somehow starting at just $14.
But before you lock in weekend plans, there's a major train shutdown Gold Coast commuters need to know about, with the line going completely dark from Saturday.
Meanwhile, one local mum got so fed up with supermarket prices she turned her backyard into a mini food farm, and a five-bedroom house on Heights Drive just sold for a casual $1.4 million.
Bit going on in the neighbourhood this week. Let's get into it.

THIS WEEK IN ROBINA
Paying $9 for blueberries was the final straw for this Robina mum.

Picture: Adam Head
Robina mum Elizabeth Bosworth got sick of paying ridiculous prices for blueberries... honestly, aren't we all?
So she turned her backyard into a mini food farm instead.
Now her 700sqm yard is packed with bananas, strawberries, spinach, tomatoes, carrots and citrus fruit, all grown using zero-waste methods. Food scraps are composted, excess produce is frozen or dehydrated, and even lawn clippings go straight back into the soil.
What started as a money-saving idea has turned into something pretty inspiring.Through @theheritagelivingco, Elizabeth is now helping other local families grow their own food too.
Someone quietly making the suburb better. Good on ya, Elizabeth.
